These are some of my favorite web master tools from around the web.

  • SEO Book Keyword Suggestion Tool, Google Keyword Tool
Helps you pick out keywords to target within your niche by giving you approximate search volumes.
  • Google Analytics
You probably already know about this one; it lets you know where your visitors are coming from and which pages they are visiting.
  • Google Traffic/CPC Estimator
I use this tool to get a rough idea of how much traffic my keywords will get, and how much a click will pay.
  • Google Webmaster Tools
This will give you some diagnostics about your site, like which pages have been crawled, top search queries for your site, what Googlebot sees, and other statistics.
  • SpyFu
This tool will arguably give you a more reliable cost/click for specific keywords.
  • XHTML Character Entity Reference
Pretty much what it sounds like.
  • CubeStat, WebsiteOutlook, DNS Scoop
Get an estimate of how much your site is worth.
  • DomainTyper, Instant Domain Search, Ajax Whois
Let's face it, all the good domains are taken. Use thesetools to quickly figure out what's left from the slim pickings.
  • Regex Tester
Tool for testing your regular expressions instantly.
  • CSS Compressor, Clean CSS
Tools for compressing/cleaning your CSS to save you and your viewers' bandwidth and load times.
  • JS Minifier, JS Packer, JS Compressor
    Tools for compacting your JavaScript.
  • BrowserShots
This site will generate screenshots of your website from many different browsers, and operating systems. An excellent tool for making sure your site is cross-browser compatible!
  • Banklink Watch
Find out who's linking to you.
  • EpochConverter
Once in awhile you might want to manually insert a UNIX timestamp into your database; use this tool to convert to and from a human-readable time.
  • ClickHeat
Haven't personally tried this one, but it will give you a free heat map of where users are clicking on your site.
  • XHTML Formatter
Not only will this tool indent your HTML nicely, it will fix any missing closing tags! Very handy if you're trying to clean up else's code.
  • JS Bin, PasteBin, CodePad, dpaste
Share code snippets with others. JSBin and CodePad will let you run your code too!
  • Fix My HTML
Formats your HTML and fixes mismatched tags. A great help when you're trying to clean up someone else's mess.
